Another Gay Memorial Day

As I sit here waiting for my aloe-vera soaked skin to cool, I thought I'd give a quick update...The Hubby, the Puppy, and I are back from a fabulous five days on the Gulf of Mexico... For those who don't know, every year Memorial Weekend brings flocks and flocks of queer folk from all the corners of the earth to a two mile stretch of beach in Pensacola Beach, Florida (click here for full event details).

We're a bit too vanilla to take part in some of the more interesting aspects of the festivities, but we did definitely enjoy spending a few days by the crystalinne tourqouise waters surrounded by friends and flamers who were supportive of our love.

I always say that coming home from a queer seminar, pride festival, or other LGBT event is kind of like coming home from church camp. Spending a week surrounded by a bunch of mo's has a tendency to make me forget that in the real world, we're not nearly as free as we ought to be. But I digress........

Anywho, we were retarded, and forgot to bring a camera. But fortunately, our boys from Arkansas took quite a few. I'll post some as soon as I get them. You really have to see our little puggy with big ole' UV-blocking sunglasses on. Oh the humor......

Good Lord, its been awhile...

Yeah, I know its been too long..... and this really isn't a full post. Just a quick note to let y'all know Tim, Honey and I are off to Pensacola for Memorial Day Weekend.
